Worked on-site with government representatives to ensure proper processing and resolution of security vulnerability findings resulting from Certification & Accreditation (C&A) efforts as well as audits from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for Federal Student Aid (FSA), a bureau of the Department of Education (DoED).

Achievements:

• Aided Federal Student Aid (FSA) in efforts to maintain compliance with FISMA and NIST by reviewing mitigation strategies for findings against systems with varying levels of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and security needs.
• Operated as a key member of a security vulnerability finding processing team to independently verify and validate findings and their appropriate resolutions.
• Prepared executive summaries for Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Federal Student Aid (FSA) summarizing the security vulnerabilities of over 20 private collection agency systems.
